I'm a 22-year-old software test engineer at Bachmann electronic and web developer from Vorarlberg, Austria. I did my schooling at HTL Dornbirn, then studied at TU Wien, at HAMK in Finland on exchange, and at FH Vorarlberg, where I finished a BSc in Computer Engineering.

Outside of work I train a fair amount. I play football for two clubs, Sportfreunde Nofels in the Hobbyliga and FC Schlins Juniors, and I run whenever I can, usually pointing my training at a marathon with smaller local races along the way. The gym is mostly there to keep the running from breaking me. Summers are for the mountainbike, winters for skiing.

The rest of my time goes to FPV drones, which I build, fly, and occasionally crash, tinkering with hardware and electronics, and cutting video: drone clips, birthday sketches, event recaps, the odd gaming montage. I play a few instruments too, the harmonica, ukulele, recorder, and a kazoo I have no real business owning. On the listening side it's a bit of everything, but punk rock most of all, and Blink-182 above the rest.

I'm a sociable sort in the usual Vorarlberg way: good company, a beer, lederhosen when the occasion calls for it, hiking and skiing. I support Manchester City, Phil Foden most of all, which is also what my Hobbyliga teammates call me. The other nicknames are "Shaggy", from singing Shaggy at karaoke, and "Banja Luci", which stuck after a team trip to Banja Luka. Most evenings that aren't any of the above are gaming or an Adam Sandler film.

Animals have always been part of home. Growing up it was cats, a lot of them, later a while with fancy mice, and now a dog. Soon I want to set up a small tank for dwarf shrimp.

I'm also part of the local village community. I help with the Funken every year and the Dorfball, and once a year I do the rounds as Nikolaus with Knecht Ruprecht alongside. Working with younger kids is a regular thing too: coaching at Digital Campus Vorarlberg's summer coding camp, a spell at Klein Feldkirch, helping with youth football training, and refereeing youth matches as a club referee.
